Akachan (赤ちゃん, Akachan) is a magical, green leaf that serves as a way of transportation. It is originally a part of the Shiji Tree (支持木, "Shijiki", English TV; "Tree of Life") from the Land of Bamboo.
Background[]
Once a leaf on the branch of the gargantuan Shiji Tree, Akachan was plucked from the tree after being discovered by Suzaku Goka. One of the smaller leaves, the sentient creature began to see Suzaku as a parental figure (similarly to the process of "imprinting" seen in newborn animals), though it is unable to speak. Although there are many other leaves like Akachan, most wither and die upon being plucked from the tree. It is unknown why Akachan did not.
Abilities[]
Akachan's main purpose is for transportation; it is a very capable vehicle that can traverse vast distances in short periods of time, much quicker than any modern vehicle. It's flight is effective because of its sturdy surface and large body which allows it to protect those within and withstand powerful, B-rank level techniques. Because of Akachan's magical properties, the user can link his sensory with the leaf in order to help it navigate.
The leaf is ten meters long and six meters wide.

- Akachan (赤ちゃん) literally means "baby".
- It is inspired by the Flying Nimbus from the Dragon Ball series.
- Whenever Kashi summons Akachan, Gomaru and Tsunamaru in place at the same time, it often open for a way for a comedic moment to occur behind Kashi whenever he isn't looking, the rabbits tend to chase after the leaf in order to eat it. This is because the rabbits are associated with eating leaves and lettuces.
