Ayako Okami (彩子 狼, Colourful child, Great God/Wolf) is the current Daimyo of Land of Lightning and Clan Lord of the Ōkami Clan. Though Ayako is at the young age of twenty-four, she looks as though she isn't a day over Nineteen. Ayako has dedicated a hefty portion of her life to others and has travelled parts of the world in order to use her knowledge of Medical jutsu and herbology for the wellbeing of others. On top of this, Ayako is the owner of the main hospital in Land of Lightning and has contributed heavily to the growth and expansion of other medical facilities throughout her homeland. Ayako's current projects are restoring the damaged areas of Land of Lightning and funding housing for orphans and the homeless. Ayako is also the proud mother of five children; Kami Shia, Youi, Tomoko Ōkami, Momo Okami and Kinro Okami. Ayako has a habit of taking children under her wing and caring for them - a trait she inherited from her mother.
Other than being a loving mother, Ayako hold the rank of S-rank medical ninja and has even created multiple of her own Jutsu, footwork techniques and taijutsu techniques. The majority of her taijutsu techniques were created for her students such as Kanako Okami who uses one of Ayako's most beautiful taijutsu forms that she has ever created.
Background[]
Ayako was born into the main family of the Ōkami clan. Child to Daichi – the clan head – and his wife, Aya. Daichi was always disappointed that his first-born child was girl. Within the Ōkami clan it is a tradition for the first-born child, no matter their gender, to be the clan head after their parent. Ayako has always been extraordinary, but for such a young child, she was merely looked at as though she were defective. Her father had always gone out of his way to ignore her and if they were to cross paths in the hall, he would turn around and walk back the way he came. When Ayako was five, the news of a younger sibling had come around. Unfortunately, this was also the start of Ayako’s nightmare. Daichi had found out that his second-born was a son, Hiko. At the same time, the dark secret of the Ōkami was yet again about to come around as it did yearly.
Ayako was dragged from the bottom to the top of the mountain by her father who clasped tightly at her arm - rushing to get rid of her before his wife awoke and notice the absence of them both. His cover story was that Ayako had snuck outside of the clan and perhaps gotten lost. Aya was devastated that her daughter was gone. For days on end, sensory members of the Ōkami clan were out and about all over the land to find her, but they never imagined she would be on the mountain that rested behind the Ōkami Estate. This was because the mountain belonged strictly to the Ōkami and everyone in the land, outside of the land and even members of the clan needed express permission to be there. Unless given a verbal response from the Clan Lord, people literally could not get through the barrier that surrounded the mountain and also supressed any sensory abilities that tried to pierce the barrier. However, none of them had known that the Clan Lord did in fact give consent for Ayako to go up to the mountain because he dragged her there himself.
Five year old Ayako was sent up to the mountain as a sacrifice to Fenrir, the Wolf God that the Ōkami worshipped. What they did not know was that Fenrir, a 35-foot white wolf, never asked for human sacrifice. When one child a year was sent up the mountain to her, Fenrir gave them a test. But every child given the test didn’t come back alive. Ayako, appearing before Fenrir as a fearless, white-haired and blue-eyed girl was also given the same test. Fenrir, seeing the potential within the girl, didn’t give her leniency like the other children. She was free reign for all beasts roaming on the mountain.
Fenrir had said “Child of the wolves, if you can last on this mountain for one month then I shall sire myself to you and your bloodline. But if you fail, you will be laid to rest on this mountain forever.”
Ayako had always been one for challenges, she fearlessly accepted. Fortunately for her, she had a doting mother that loved to teach her everything she possibly could, including the Ōkami clan’s taming ritual, different herbs, spices and medicines as well as how to deal with different terrains which were essential in a mountain. Ayako was gifted with an IQ of 207 and a photographic memory, but in place of the gifts she was given, her EQ was almost none-existent.
Ayako was all alone on a mountain that surprisingly, she had never been on before. The entire time she was there, she didn’t light a single fire. It’s not that she couldn’t. She was smart enough to know that the fire would attract unwanted attention from the creatures and Ayako had learned some of the Thermoregulation manipulation ability. Instead of having the beasts look for her, she went looking for them, led by nothing but instinct.

By the time her 6th Birthday had come, she was ready to take on her father. When he dragged the sacrificial child up the mountain, Ayako stood in his path with a pack of wolves ready to tear into him. Believing she were an apparition, Daichi began to lash out with his sword, catching one of Ayako’s eyes and blinding her. Doing so provoked her pack into attacking. One of Ayako's wolves had viciously bitten off Daichi's hand and delivered it to Fenrir who then shifted into her human form specifically to crown Ayako with the clan lord's ring.
Returning to the walls of the Ōkami Estate, Ayako had to give her people proof of Fenrir’s kind heart. The entire time, they had been convinced that Fenrir was a giant, violent beast - But not once did she indulge on the lives of humans, let alone innocent children. Fenrir provided all the families that had lost a child over the years with the locations of the graves that she and her children had buried them in on the mountain. When night fell that night, Ayako publicly executed her father with her own hands and all but a handful of Ōkami had cheered for the end of the tyrant's rule.
Over the years, the people had come to adore Ayako. Though, with the leadership role came many rules, responsibilities and a curfew. Ayako had to be locked within the walls of the Ōkami clan Estate to train and study. As a genin, she did missions in secret so that her friends, who she met after coming back from the mountain, wouldn’t find out she was out of confinement temporarily so that she could be promoted.
Years and years continued to go by, Ayako returned to the world outside of the clan's walls and soon rose to fame as the youngest person in the Land of Lightning to become Head Medic, CEO of the LoL Hospitals, Clan Lord and Raikage. She truly was an accomplished super genius who spent her free time running around the Land of Lightning to help the poor and poverty-ridden, secretly giving them free healthcare.
Ayako eventually found herself as a mother to five children as well as a wife to one of her childhood best-friends, Jiro Raikyu and finally...was given the mantle of Daimyo. Ayako had been hailed as the first female Raikage in the Land's history and is now the first female Daimyo in history as well.
Personality[]
Despite Ayako’s mature, delicate and elegant appearance, she is a sarcastic, prideful woman who is easily irritated when it comes to Jiro, Takeo, Eno and Hikaru. Despite her tendency to be aggressive, she is actually a kind person, especially to people she trusts. She is extremely loyal, too, as she is willing to fight tooth-and-nail to protect her loved ones. She is not afraid to speak her mind and is often considered foul-mouthed because of her somewhat rude attitude toward people and lack of social skills in certain situations thanks to having a near non-existent EQ until she was a teenager. As a child, Ayako received many marriage invitations and love confessions but refused them all after observing the issues between her parents and her mother's forced marriage to Ayako’s father. At first, Aya had met Jiro Raikyū as a child and his sister, Hikaru who became Aya’s best friend while Aya slowly but surely developed a crush on Jiro. However, instead of a typical getting flustered and shy around their crush, Aya was tough and rude to Jiro while her heart would beat fast in her chest the whole time. Because of the broken household she came from and their traditional values, Aya wasn’t really sure how to cope in the outside world as she wasn't supposed to live past five. However, since she did, her mother had to try her best to teach Aya how to behave in a modern world by trying to get Aya to be as lady-like as possible...to no avail. Instead, her mother just told her to be herself. After her rise to clan leader at a young age as well as being at the Academy, Ayako learned to rely on her mother who was in charge of the clan when Aya was away. Aya grew up to be a super genius, especially when it came down to the practice of medicine, science and her clan. Her clansmen adored her after the reign of her tyrant and oppressive father had ended at Aya’s hands. She also developed all kinds of medicines and clan-specific enhancements that she had been playing around with since she was a teenager, one being the Ōkami clan ‘spirit pills’ which Aya has strict limits on and can only be obtained through her as she is the one who created them. They are specific to the Ōkami genetic markers and are heavily sought after.
Appearance[]
Aya is a youthful woman that stands at five foot eleven inches. She has snow white hair that brushes against her ankles in length. Her skin is almost flawless, plagued by a scar over one of her eyes. It is soft and silky to the touch and though she is curvy, she's also very athletic and has muscles that are usually hidden by her clothes. Ayako is large breasted and has a graceful and elegant body shape. She is curvy, but through tight clothes her well-earned and structured stomach is defined enough for people to see just how hard she has trained in her life. Ayako was once referred to as 'The wolf diety incarnate' because of her stunning beauty. Often recognized by her distinctive features, Aya also possesses two different coloured eyes after clashing with her father as a child, causing her to lose one of her eyes which was later replaced by her father's eye. She is often seen walking around in a lab coat as she is always holed up in her lab under her Estate. Other than her lab coat, Ayako wears all kinds of outfits that depend on the situation she will be entering and her second most seen outfit is a traditional kimono shirt with an obi and baggy trousers that have cut outs on the thighs.
Ayako's body is covered in seals and tattoos. She has two summoning seals on her thighs in blue and green ink. One summons her pack and the other summons Fenrir herself. On her shoulder are pink cherry blossoms that span from the front and cover her collar bones then crawl to the back and cover her shoulder blades. She has her Clan symbol tattooed onto her back as a sign that she is the Clan Lord and has a specific ink carving on her ribcage area that links her to her summoning coins.
Unusual features[]
Ayako has long white hair that reaches her ankles and mismatched eyes. Ayako was originally born with vibrant blue eyes but after an important moment regarding her father, she lost one and instead took one of his eyes. Now Ayako has one blue and one green eye. Like the rest of her race, she has sharp fangs in her mouth and long, pointed claws.
Claws
Ayako possesses claws that have the ability to extend. The claws have a razor sharp edge and are capable of cutting through even the toughest of skin. Once she has extended her claws, she can't retract them and has to cut them or file them back to their usual length which is troublesome.
Teeth
Ayako has elongated canines that have the ability to release the poison that Okami create within their bodies, making their bite deadly in some cases and simply toxic in others. Her canines can also shred through skin with ease and with such a strong jaw in addition, Ayako has the force to bite through bones.
Tools[]
Katana: Tōboekotsu (遠吠え骨, "Howling Bone ") is the name of Ayako's katana. This blade is a very, very old sentient sword made from Fenrir's claw and chakra during the Clan wars some thousands of years ago. Tōboekotsu is always at Ayako's hip or in her line of sight and they're never parted. Part of the reason is because this Katana is labelled as 'The Clan Lord's sword' and the rest is that this sword, though it has had many, many owners, refuses to leave Ayako's side. Tōboekotsu has a very aggressive and violent nature, but is extremely elegant in appearance and techniques. Those that can see chakra would notice Ayako and Tōboekotsu constantly exchange chakra, as did previous Clan Lords.
Kunai and Shuriken: Though Ayako rarely needs these, she carries them with her just in case she ever does need them. Rather than using the typical ninja tools, Ayako would instead rely on her claws.
wire: Ayako has a variety of rolled up wire in her possession. Wire can be helpful for a variety of things; catching food, setting traps, making tools, making useful items, etc.
Map: Though Ayako is a sensory ninja with an extraordinary sense of direction, she always carries a map to show her team where she would like them positioned or where they need to go. This map is also very helpful to teach her students 'in-field tactics and strategy'.
Medical Scrolls: Being an S-class medical ninja, Ayako doesn't particularly need medical scrolls, but they're handy to have on hand for her students to learn in 'field medical training' or to give to amateur medics when she travels, in hopes these medical scrolls will help them better their knowledge and save more people.
Silver fang relics: Silver Fang Relics (銀の牙古物, "Gin no Kiba Kobutsu" English TV: "Silver Fang Antiques") are silver coins that Ayako inherited from her mother, Aya. Though she can use space-time, Ayako prefers to summon things using these coins and also gives them to a select few so that they can reverse summon her whenever they need her. The coins aren't anything special at all other than the fact Aya used them. They do the same thing regular reverse summoning would do, though it's a little faster since the coins directly connect to Ayako and the summoning tattoo carved into the skin resting on her ribcage.
Needles: Being a medical ninja, Ayako is extremely precise and carries these needles around to either perform acupuncture and medical techniques or to simply use them to make others unconscious.
Vials: Ayako carries twelve vials on her person in glass vials that are protected by a thin layer of chakra to keep them from breaking if dropped or manhandled. Six of these vials carry the Ōkami poison that specifically comes from Ayako. Each vial has a different potency and can be mixed to make a gas sleeping medicine that was created by Ayako. Of course, even if the person has inhaled the poison as a gas, it is still poison and requires an antidote which is the blood of the Ōkami that poisoned you in the first place and so, Ayako carries six vials of her blood around to counter the poison.
Chakra and Attributes[]
Ayako is a proud possessor of Ōkami Chakra (狼のチャクラ, "Ōkami no Chakura", English TV: "Wolf Chakra") Which is the unique chakra produced in the body of every Ōkami. Ōkami chakra is Prussian blue in colour and is quite aggressive and ferocious in nature. While Ōkami Chakra is beautiful in appearance, it is in fact extremely toxic. To those not of the Ōkami bloodline, the chakra is a poisonous disease. Though the chakra isn't immediately life threatening, if exposed for too long or the chakra is left inside of someone's pathway for a long period of time, it will slowly begin to corrupt. The "Vaccine" to the afflictions brought upon by the diseased chakra is, in all of it's disgusting-sounding glory, bile from an Ōkami.
Effects of Ōkami Chakra
Prolonged exposure or direct contact with Ōkami Chakra is extremely toxic to those not of an Ōkami bloodline. When exposed to the Chakra, it will start to feel as though the target has minor withdrawal symptoms. The first week of being exposed to Ōkami Chakra;
- Feeling Anxious/Paranoid - The target will feel as though they're always been watched and/or being followed.
- Sweating - Though the target may not feel hot or warm at all, they will still sweat. At first, it will be hardly noticeable but they will eventually start sweating horrendously.
- Mood swings - The target may switch between happiness, sadness, anger, jealousy, etc. Again, this may be hardly noticeable at first but the mood swings will eventually be consistently changing at random periods of time.
- Dilated pupils - The target will experience slow pupil reaction. Their pupils will contract and dilate at much slower rates, making most daily activities a lot harder.
- Shaking - The target will experience a slight tremor in their muscles at first that may start at their lips or their hands. Eventually these tremors will build into severe muscle spasms.
- Headaches - The target will experience minor headaches that can be quelled with medicine, but they will still persist daily despite the medicine.
- Fatigue - The target will feel exhausted after doing their usual daily activities, this will be noticeable within two-three days.
- Increased heart rate - The target will experience heart palpitations and in some cases they may experience some pain. As the palpitations get worse, the target will experience shortness of breath.
The second week of being exposed to Ōkami Chakra;
- Confusion - The fatigue and constant mood swings will eventually become too much to handle for the target and they will be in a constant state of paranoid confusion, their days will become hazy and they will eventually start to forget things.
- Depression - The targets paranoia, anxiety and nervousness will cause severe depression. The target will start to feel lazy and won't want to leave their beds/homes.
- Nightmares - The headaches that could be quelled by medicine have turned into migraines by this point and the target suffers constant nightmares and sleep paralysis every-so-often.
- Hallucinations - The target may begin to hear, see, feel or smell things that aren't actually there.
"Vaccine"
Kyōkenbyō Wakuchin (狂犬病ワクチン, "Rabies Vaccine") Ayako and Chūjōhime worked tirelessly to find a "vaccine" to the effects of the Ōkami Chakra because after working so closely with Ayako, Chūjōhime had become inflicted with the diseased chakra. Chūjōhime suffered day in and day out until they had finally found that bile from an Ōkami could counter the effects. The bile contains bilirubin which acts as an antioxidant. When Ayako mixed the Ōkami bile with her own Ōkami chakra which, in this case, was being used medically and had Chūjōhime drink the concoction, they noticed that the Chakra effects had completely disappeared after two-three weeks. After giving Chūjōhime a check up, it was clear the disease she had was now gone and they had also discovered the "cure". They discovered a little later on that, those who had been suffering from the infliction for longer than three months needed to take daily doses of the concoction until the disease had gone completely.
Chakra control[]
Ayako has remarkable control over her chakra. As a child, the first thing she was made to train was her chakra control and though at the time she thought her teachers were being harsh for the intense training, they actually helped Ayako out in her current life. Because of her insane training, she made it to S-class medical ninja and is in fact very thankful. The beginning of Ayako's training, she was made to sit on the waters surface for a whole day and if she failed, she could take a ten minute break before starting all over again. After completing this and being able to multitask while doing so, her teachers had found her attitude towards learning to be a pain and so they increased the difficulty. They had her sit on the oceans surface for five days, if she failed, she was to start again.
In the mind of a six year old, this was perhaps bullying, but she was better off for it. After she had mastered sitting on water for a whole week, the had Ayako learn to coat her feet in chakra and walk up a tree trunk or wall and have her stand there for a day, five days and a week. If she fell, she had to start all over again. This kind of training had also taught Ayako to appreciate beauty, seeing as she had been outside constantly, watching the changes in weather, each leaf fall from trees. This training also taught Ayako patience and her teachers had noticed a considerable difference in her personality and attitude to learning after months of training on both water and land.
When Ayako was eight, her teachers had asked her if she was willing to complete an extreme training scheme to further enhance her chakra control. Ayako had agreed, but when she glimpsed at what they had in store for her, a cold sweat dripped down her spine. They had asked for Ayako to coat her feet in chakra and climb a wall to reach the ceiling. As she's standing on the ceiling, a large barrel would be placed directly under her and this barrel would be coated in flames. If she messed up and fell even once, there would be no avoiding the barrel below her. Ayako could feel the heat on her skin and it made her sweat profoundly. One time, her hair had slipped from the pin holding it and the ends of her long hair had been singed by the mere heat of the flames that she was so close to. Because of that horrific event, Ayako trained extra hard to be able to dangle above the flames for longer than the hour she was lasting.
For months on end, through her extreme frustration, Ayako tried her best to remain above the fire and had set a record of three hours after two months in. At five months in, she could last seven hours and by the end of the year, Ayako managed to clear a whole twenty-four hours, but was extremely fatigued and slept for two days after that. For that year she had put herself through none-stop training everyday, from morning to night in order to accomplish her goal.
Even today, Ayako still sits on the oceans surface for weeks on end to fine tune her chakra control, she still walks and stand on walls and will even sometimes see how long she can last above a fire barrel. Her current record is nine days.
Life Force[]
Ayako's body contains an incredible life force - so much so that despite her current age of twenty-four, she doesn't look a day over nineteen, though her body is definitely at the maturity of a full-blown adult. Her life force being what it is does not mean that Ayako is by any means immortal. Ayako can still of course die, though if Ayako were to be cut in half, she would hang on by a thread and try her hardest to remain conscious. Her healing factor grants her an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process at a much slower pace than a normal human. While she does show signs of aging, which is why Ayako looks so young.
Willpower[]
Though the young Daimyo looks unmotivated and blank-faced 90% of the time, Ayako has an extreme, reinforced willpower. Within Ayako resides The Will of the Wolf - A vicious and tenacious will to push yourself to your limits. Regardless of what she says and does, Ayako will push herself to her limits until she unravels at the seams if that's what it takes. So much so, that she will put her life on the line to prove a point. People that know Ayako will see that she really is the kind of person that persists no matter the cost and never gives up. Some may say that the young Lord is foolish for such things, but this doesn't dent Ayako's pride to have such an indominable will. Ayako is very good at inspiring people and motivating them to also push through their limits.
Abilities[]
Pheromone Ability
Ayako possesses a natural ability to mask her own scent to such a degree that the majority of sensory based animals/shinobi are unable to track her. She can use her pheromones to manipulate the emotional state and sensory perceptions of other beings, and has been known to use this power to in still intense fear, happiness, depression, fascination, and a false sense of security. The latter allows her to seemingly appear out of nowhere at times, enabling her to inflect damage before an opponent realizes she's there. Such tactics give opponents the belief that she can either teleport or move at God-like speeds, though she stated multiple times that she doesn't possess either of those powers. She has used this ability during training with her students, telling them that her ability allow her to distort or hinder an enemy's depth perception and visual acuity, causing them to fight sluggishly. In the past when Ayako lost control of this ability, Ayako's pheromones caused those around her to mirror her own moods; during her youth, this caused her younger brother to be extremely afraid of this ability. Ayako's pheromone abilities are at their most effective when a target is unaware of either their existence or their implementation because a wary target can push past their effects as an act of will. She also appears to have great knowledge as to the capabilities of pheromones in general, as well as their taste and smell. In conjunction with her enhanced senses and knowledge of pheromones, she can expertly judge the emotional/physical state of those around her, both animal and human.
Body temperature Manipulation
Ayako has hyper-sensitive awareness of the activity of her hypothalamus and can regulate it at will which means that she has complete control of her own body temperature. Ayako uses her chakra control to create a light chakra field on her body that vents and regulates heat simultaneously. This helps Ayako to have more viable control of her body temperature and not melt from the inside out or destroy her vital organs. Ayako can increase and decrease her body temperature to harmful or lethal levels, increasing it to levels where touching her is painful/damaging while she will be unaffected by the changes, concealing body temperature, giving her astronomical temperature resistance. Because of this Ayako is completely unaffected by the temperature changes in the weather.
Sensory[]
Thanks to her inhuman genetics, Ayako has natural sensory that has been honed from the age of six and she still continues to do so, knowing that he sensory can get better. Ayako possesses superhumanly acute senses that are on par with the very animals her clan hails from. She can see with greater clarity and greater distances than an ordinary human and her vision extends into the ultraviolet and infrared areas of the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing her to see in near-total darkness and retain the same level of clarity. Her hearing is similarly enhanced, able to detect sounds that ordinary humans can't and at greater distances. Ayako also possesses an extremely well developed sense of smell. She is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if they are well hidden. She can track a target by scent, even if the scent has been greatly eroded by time and weather factors, with an extraordinary degree of success. Ayako can also use her keen sense of smell to detect lies due to chemical changes within a person's scent.
Intelligence[]
Ayako possesses an extremely high IQ of 207 and was gifted with a photographic memory, though in return for these gifts, Ayako's mother was convinced that their Gods had gifted Ayako her intellect and photographic memory in return for taking her natural emotions. Thus, Ayako had a near non-existent EQ as a child and had to learn to understand and express emotions as a teenager. To this day Ayako is still uncertain with her EQ, though she has a good grasps on other peoples emotions and the understanding of these emotions.
Though she has a high IQ, Ayako's intellect was also nurtured by endless books that were provided to her by her mother and after becoming Clan Lord, Ayako had access to countless information in the Lord's library and the Clan's library. Ayako also gained her knowledge from Fenrir who imparted the information she had gained through thousands of years of life.
Ayako's intellect doesn't just cover random books or pieces of information, she had incredible medical knowledge that she loves to share and collect on her travels to different lands and countries. Besides this, she also has incredible knowledge on combat and strategy, making her one of the most valuable people to have as a friend.
Stamina and Speed[]
Ayako's Okami healing factor grants her resilience to lactic acid and other fatigue toxins generated by her muscles granting her inhuman levels of stamina, exceptional endurance, and lung capacity (holding breath longer than humanly possible under water); in all physical activities. Ayako can sustain herself at peak capacity for several days.
Ayako is able to move at high level superhuman speeds. She has the ability to attack faster than the eye can follow. Her combat speed seems more enhanced than anything else, as she has frequently kept up with her teachers in training and is currently the fastest Okami within the Clan.
Because of her stamina, Ayako could probably out run most people she knows even if they are faster than her, simply because she could last longer and wouldn't need to break because of sweat or exhaustion.
Durability and Strength[]
Ayako possesses a uniquely dense bone structure. Additionally, her skin and muscle tissues are enhanced to levels that are considerably stronger and harder than those of a normal human, and the said tissues are resilient to injury to an extraordinary extent. Some blades made with weak metals could attempt to slash Ayako's skin and snap upon contact as if her body were made of iron.
Ayako possesses inhuman strength and one kick could demolish a line of tree's with just the force. A punch from Ayako's fist is strong enough to create a crater or hole in a brick wall. As with much of her abilities, Ayako has been honing her strength from the age of six and continues to train in the present day, knowing she has a ways to go. From the age of six, Ayako has been wearing weights on her wrists and ankles and increases the weight every six months. Though, Ayako keeps them on at all times and has for many years but because of this, she feels 'too free and light' when she takes them off.
Agility and Reflexes[]
Ayako's agility, balance, flexibility, dexterity, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of a [e.g Olympic gold medallist]. She has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished aerialists and acrobats. Her agility is sufficient to allow her to dodge multiple kunai and shuriken. She is even able to jump extremely high and evade several yards.
Her reflexes are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete due to her inhumanly acute senses.
Healing[]
Ayako possesses an accelerated healing factor that enables her to fully regenerate damaged or destroyed bodily tissues and/or cells with far greater speed and efficiency than normal humans. The full limits of Ayako's healing powers aren't known, but the overall speed and efficiency in which she heals appears to be based upon the severity of the injury. Ayako's regenerative healing powers also afford her great resistance to drugs and toxins depending on the potency as well as better resistance to conventional diseases that normal humans wouldn't have. Because of this, Ayako is quite difficult to get drunk and while she has consumed alcohol, she has never been drunk in her life.
Jutsu[]
Kenjutsu[]
From the age of six, Ayako was forced to learn Kenjutsu because of the Clan Traditions. Becoming Clan Lord meant that you had to be able to wield the Lord's Katana and be worthy of the sentient blade. Before Ayako could even lay eyes on the blade, she was made to memorise and master the Okami style Kenjutsu and Cloud style Kenjutsu as well as many other sword techniques that the Okami had in their possession that were lost to various lands and Clans that the Okami Conquered in the past. Ayako was even sent to various Okami branches in different lands to learn Kenjutsu. By the time she was able to even come back and look at her future blade, Ayako was already seventeen. For many years, Ayako worked with the sentient blade in an attempt to master it and still works to do so to this day. Sometimes, people will catch Ayako arguing with what seems to be herself but she is in fact, arguing with her sword. The two are quite the comedic pair and have been known to stop mid battle in the past just because her Katana is extremely sassy and ends up finding something to argue with Ayako about.
Taijutsu[]
The Okami lean heavily into wolves, and though it is not a requirement, most Okami rely on their Taijutsu more than anything else. Ayako is no exception - Her mentor, Fenrir Okami, was adamant on Ayako learning Taijutsu first and so from the age of five, Ayako had been none-stop training under the guidance of Fenrir. Fenrir went as far as making weights for Ayako's wrists and ankles which was tough on Ayako at first because she was so skinny and frail after spending so long in the wild, having to hunt for her own food and some night going hungry after a failed hunt. Regardless, Ayako was more than motivated to learn Taijutsu techniques and strengthen herself. Her experience in Taijutsu and the hardships she faced on the mountain back then is the reason she returned home as a different person. She returned stronger both physically and mentally, faster and had gained the Will of the Wolf, a vicious willpower that motivated her and continues to do so to this day. In her spare time, Ayako will still train her Taijutsu because she knows that, though she may be quite advanced with Taijutsu and is extremely dangerous, she has a ways to go yet and has a goal to completely master every Okami and Cloud style taijutsu that she can before she draws her last breath, she had even hoped to gain Taijutsu techniques from Lands she travelled to.
Ninjutsu[]
Arduous training managed to get Ayako to where she is now and thanks to said training, she's well versed in Ninjutsu and has master countless techniques. Ayako has a remarkable mastery of her Chakra Control and rarely uses hand signs. Ayako will sometimes catch herself using hand signs out of habit from her training days as her teachers would make her use hand signs regardless of if she could perform Jutsu without them. Ayako's Ninjutsu training was so intense that her teachers would make her perform one Jutsu over and over again for hours on end to test her stamina, build it up and build up her performing speed. In present day, Ayako is very thankful for the 'Borderline child abuse riddled training' as it contributed heavily to the person she is today.
Genjutsu[]
While some Okami can perform Genjutsu, Ayako is unable to. It was always a subject that 'The Wolf Prodigy' couldn't master, but has studied closely. Ayako is more than capable of easily breaking out of most Genjutsu thanks to her knowledge and Okami senses. Ayako is more than happy to teach someone her knowledge but has always been unable to perform Genjutsu.
Fūinjutsu[]
Ayako is just as well versed in Fuinjutsu as she is in Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. Ayako has a wide range of knowledge on seals and has performed Fuinjutsu for various things like sealing her own Chakra during training so that she wasn't tempted to use it as well as sealing her Chakra when around average humans so that they don't get inflicted with the diseased Chakra. Ayako also has a habit of sealing every draw, door and cupboard in her lab because of how dangerous the things she creates are. Ayako also carries scrolls on her when she goes out that have medical items sealed inside such as her tools, medicines, books and scriptures and one even has a surgery table sealed inside just in case - Ayako likes to be prepared.
Kekkei Genkai[]
The Okami Clan have two Kekkei Genkai - [Unnamed] Dojutsu and The beast Enigma, body type. Because of Ayako being a full-blooded Okami from the main family, she has access to everything these two KKG have to offer and is at an astonishing ninety percent mastery which is extremely high proficiency for someone of her age. Because of how powerful she is naturally, she rarely needs to use most of the stages in her Kekkei Genkai but will if necessary.
Kekkei Tota[]
Ayako is the proud owner of Health Release which was inherited from her mother and passed down to her from her own mother, so on and so forth. Despite Ayako having a younger sibling, it was obvious only Ayako inherited this Kekkei Tota and after doing some research, it was discovered to have only been passed down through Kunoichi. She can proudly say that having this KKT and watching her mother use it is partly responsible for why she became a medical ninja.

Hibiki Okami
Hibiki Okami is a nine foot tall grey wolf that was trained to be Ayako's assistant and is found in the lab 90% unless Ayako summons him.
Fenrir Okami
Fenrir Okami is a thirty-five foot tall snow white wolf that was originally human and used the Okami Kekkei Genkai to transform into a wolf. Fenrir has a temporary human form and was originally Ayako's teacher/mentor but is more like a friend and companion to Ayako. They have been together since Ayako was five years old.
