Hino Akanohi (日野赤のひ, Akanohi Hino) is a genin from the Hidden Leaf Village. He is a descendant of the Akanohi clan who is the last known remaining survivor. Because there are few like him Hino is called the Last of the Akanohi (赤のひ最後 , "Akanohisaigo"). Along with Suhaku Goka and Rika Uchiha Hino was apart of Team 30.
Background[]
Hino spent a good part of his life under harsh traditional training from his mother, while also trying to get his dad to recognize him. From a young age, Hino has had to get used to controlling his chakra to the point that he could release it from his whole body. Similar the Hyuga, except that he would be releasing poison from all over his body. He was being poisoned from a young age by his mother bit by bit to build up a resistance to it to the point that poison won't kill him. However, that would make him deathly sick, such that he would double over and heave violently, upon coming into contact with large quantities of it. At the age of eight, after his first mission ended up in a failure, he had been told to never forget his training and to be more careful by his mother. A few months after that, both his mom and his dad went missing, and he has not seen them since that day.
Three years later, he unlocked his Dojutsu but he lost his lifeline to understanding his Kekkei Genkai. With his mother gone, and no one left to teach him exactly how to use it, he has had to put more power into studying his Dojutsu, as well as the two Jutsu that his dad left him. Using these three things in conjunction, he entered the Chuunin Exams with his Genin teammates, Rika and Suhaku. Though the trials were difficult and had almost failed them, Hino had the help of his friends, along with his dojutsu. As a result, he was able to get through the first few rounds of the Chuunin Exam, before the Exams were unfortunately cancelled. Now, being back home, Hino has thrown himself into studying to increase his chakra pool/reserves, because through the exams, he learned that even with his excellent chakra control, he would burn through his chakra pool quickly through repeated use of his current abilities.
Personality[]
Hino's personality is laid-back, yet inquisitive. If there is something new that he can learn, then he will most likely go in search of it, though only if he deems it to be cool enough. While on the outside he is seen to be laughing and smiling, on the inside, his Inner Hino is a ball of sadness. He wants his mother and father to be proud of him.
For this reason, he craves strength. During the Chunin Exams Hino grew brave enough to defend his teammates without fear and showed a competitive side while trying to keep up with them. After the lost of his friend and teammate Suhaku Goka, Hino externalized his grief but shortly after went back into his "Inner Hino".
Appearance[]
Hino has light pink eyes, similar to his father's, with a hairstyle similar to his as well. He has a characteristically mischievous smile on his face, seen often. Even though his mother has black hair and his father has blond hair, Hino came out with three tone hair, with the colors strawberry-blonde, pink, and black.
It is often wondered how exactly that came to be. From his first mission, Hino received a scar that stretches from his left cheek, to his neck, to all the way across his shoulder. The scar is partially concealed. His jacket covers the part of the scar that spans across his shoulder, and the collar of his jacket covers the scar part on the neck.

Hino has a pretty nice chakra pool because for a genin has has a choice of more than one element chakra wise. With more than one element gives him more choice in jutsu to use. Training with the jutsu he has learned has trained his body to use them more effectively.

Exercising routinely from a young age has built up Hinos’ latent speed imbued within him. From his genes from both his parents and his Akanohi blood coursing through him. He is always looking to fine tune himself.

Daily physical training and well groomed genetics from both his mother and father has lead Hino to have a slim build at a young age. Yet at the same time he is well toned giving him a good balance of strength and flexibility.

In order to beat his mom he trains with her ever so often. The beatings he endures every so often has toughened up his body to be able to take a hit as well as dish it out. Hand to hand only with his mother, even as she holds back quite a bit was and is still not a fun endeavor.

In order for his strength and speed to not go to waist Hino had to train his body to endure for long periods of time. Exercising at least three times a day for at least an hour has given him the stamina to keep up his bodys output of strength and chakra.

25% Mastery Suikōgan - A unique Dōjutsu which was awakened on the destruction of by those with an unknown primordial energy. Like one of the 'Three Great Dōjutsu', the Sharingan, the Suikōgan was awakened through a surge of a powerful emotion. The first ability is a passive ability gained simply through having the Dōjutsu active. This passive ability gives Hino a complete awareness of the water around him, the ability is simply named Ishiki — (意識, “Ishiki” English TV; "Awareness"). This awareness allows him to know exactly where the water is, it's amount, the area the water spans, even details such as the pH of the water, the impurities within it, the form of the water, every little detail. This awareness extends to the moisture in the air, the water within living things, anything that contains or is a form of water, wherever ever water exists. This passive technique has a set range which is dependent on Hino's mastery with the ocular technique.
The second ability granted by the Suikōgan is the ability to use a specialised time-space ninjutsu in order to instantly swap places with any water, this technique is called Kirikae —(切替, “Kirikae” English TV;“Switching”). This technique's ability is limited by the amount of water Hino wishes to swap with, the smaller or larger the amount, the more chakra it would take Hino to exchange places with the water. If Hino were to use Kirikae on the moisture in the air, he would be capable of using this ability a total of 10 times before being put out of commission with his current mastery of the Dōjutsu. His upper limits are about the size of a koi pond at his current level. Kirikae's range of use is limited by Ishiki's range. At it's current state, the passive technique's range stands at about 50 feet. It does not require vision of the water, only that it remain within the range of Ishiki's.

Training to get the Hydras![]
Hino went training to get the Water Hydras. He could not believe his luck though. He studied Hydras so hard, and finally performed Water Jutsu, and out sprung 3 Water Hydras. Now, it was time to create more. After a year of training, Hino managed to create 5 Hydras. He realized that with more chakra, he could create more Hydras.
