The Noroi Clan (呪い一族, Noroi Ichizoku) are a nearly extinct clan of Jujutsu Specialists hailing from the Land of Curses.

Origins[]
The Noroi Clan were originally a whole completely different clan from what they would become. Their original name was lost to time after the rise of the Noroi Clan. The clan was founded over 300 years ago deep within the Land of Curses when a cunningly evil and sadistic teenage member of the clan named Noroi would venture out into the land they had always called home in search of power. The boy's journey is still the stuff of legend even to the clans oldest members at the time, as all that was known is that Noroi along his travels had managed to retrieve a legendary item of power known as a Divine Orb. These Divine Orbs are clusters of Void Energy which have unknown origins.
For Noroi though it seemed that the Divine Orb he had discovered was exactly what he was looking for, as when he absorbed its power something changed within him and it morphed him into a new entity. From that moment forward the man known as Noroi had died and Noroi, the Sinister God of Curses had been born. Using this newfound godlike power Noroi returned to his clan and took control forming what is known today as the Noroi Clan. The clan quickly rose to a well-known status within the Land of Curse all while secretly maintaining a cult to their newfound deity.
Present Day[]
In modern times start only around 15 years ago the clan and the Cult of Noroi who was comprised almost solely of the clan members ceased to exist. The once-powerful clan of Jujutsu specialist somehow were found dead in a pile that was piled so high it was visible from outside the Noroi Clan's Compounds. Nobody knows what happens except for the only surviving member of the clan a cursed man named Kinshi. It is believed that he is responsible or at the least knows who is responsible. Now only a single soul knows the truth.
Abilities[]
The Noroi Clan were masters of everything Curse Based that existed, and they knew it. They spent years under the tutelage of their deity Noroi in the art of Jujutsu. While they believed these power were a literal gift from god they instead turned out to be a ploy by Noroi to trick them and cause chaos in the world to entertain his devious self.
Jujutsu wasn't the clans only skill though as they worked to develop a number of techniques to try and bypass the drawbacks of their Jujutsu, as their thirst for knowledge came at a cost as Noroi granted great power, but only if one was willing to give something in return.
