Background[]
Shiryū Uzumaki (うずまき 紫龍, Uzumaki Shiryū) is a member of both the Uzumaki and Senju clan. About a week before Izanamikoto’s inevitable attack on Konoha, Shiryū’s parents ultimately made the hard decision to send him to the orphanage where they believed he’d be safe. Unfortunately, during the attack, the orphanage was attacked and raided which lead to him being abducted. He was taken to an unnamed village somewhere near the outskirts of the Land of Fire, this would mark the start of his cruel upbringing. Up until the age of five, he’d normally be left alone locked up in a cell with merely a pillow and rug; his only source of food was stale loaves of bread once per day and maybe water if he was lucky. Following his fifth birthday, his captors forced him to participate in a violent illegal underground fighting ring; each match was decided once either opponent was dead. In order to survive, Shiryū was forced to set aside his hopes for a better childhood. A now ten-year-old Shiryū decided one day that enough was enough, he felt the only way he could be truly free was if he managed to kill his enslavers. Once he escaped, he found himself back in Konoha, however, he had no prior knowledge that this iconic village was his original home. It wasn’t until he enrolled himself in the Academy that Ketsugo Uzumaki (ケツゴ, Uzumaki Ketsugo), noticed him. He took it upon himself to explain the events that led to Shiryū’s parent’s death while also sharing important history involving his clans. With these tools at his disposal, Shiryū vowed that one day he would get revenge on those who were responsible for the death of his parents.
Personality[]
Shiryū is unfortunately a tainted and twisted soul due to his upbringing, the only way of life he knew growing up was violence and torture however somewhere inside him still is the sense of caring, shown by the fact after every fight he was forced into later that night he would sneak of and bury the one he had to kill almost as if from a young age he was forming his own code in combat. His upbringing all but removed his sense of fear so when he fights, Shiryū fights fearlessly and without regard for his life. At times, this may seem as if he is not in control of his actions or emotions, but this is far from case. Shiryū remains grounded in his senses the entire time, assessing situations on the fly he will know whether to pursue the fight or retreat and re-engage with a better advantage over his opponent. Although cold in nature towards people his softer side can be seen around animals, one would almost be confused to see this child go from such aggresion in battle to being like a child around animals, playing and cuddling them as much as he could. He once would of spat on the idea of teammates and relying on them but since Graduating the academy his attitude towards that is slowly changing for the better. Also hearing about what his real heritage is, and how his parents had gave their life trying to rescue civilians he is slowly starting to realise this bitter hatred isnt who he truly is, instead beginning to use it as fuel for change in himself and the world, one encounter at a time. This change will not be influenced by anyone, this is his life now and he will live it his way. Although Shiryu maintains control of his emotions most of the time lately his emotions have come out of balance, the result of this unlocked a fuinjutsu his mother had placed on him which was supposed to supress his emotions but instead had somehow worked to amplify them.
Appearance[]
Standing at around 5ft 5 and roughly weighing around 100lbs nothing about his build is strikingly different to those of his age group,what does show how fast he needed to grow is the multitude of scars across his face from the countless fights for survival he went through, his pale complexion made it so that his deep crimson eyes stood out along with his deep fiery red hair, A strange fuin marking on his neck that is clad in mystery as Shiryū has never divulged the origins of this mark or what it does,clad in a black robe and black shinobi pants along with simple shinobi sandles, Shiryū carries a minimal amount of pouches on his person as he is able to summon his tools with ease that being said he does have a few small pouches along his back waist containing things from rations of food and water to tools and anti-toxins and venoms,along with a secret pouch with snacks for any animals he encounters!

Shiryū's main choice of weapons is a set of 2 daggers, these daggers have 2 blades that curve in towards eachother the lower blade slightly longer than the top one giving them a pincer like form,after graduating the academy he had learned to channel his chakra into them and was capable of changing their form in doing so,becoming proficient in this quickly he decided to name his forms and how he fought with them into styles.

This weapon form see's Shiryū at some of his most agressive states this form is brought out when Shiryū is going for raw speed, used in conjuction with techniques that enhance his speed and strength preferring slender blades in this style for striking points to be more focused further enhancing the effects allowing for incredible penetration through materials and even barriers of chakra leaving behind a trail that looked just like a stream of crimson,
Crimson Meteor;[]
This weapon form is new for Shiryū and the abiltys that come with it also,utilising a meteor hammer for a more defensive state of combat,able to hurl this around himself at great speeds with chakra flowing out of it he can surround himself in chakra giving him a 360° defense.much like the Hyuga Clan's Palm Rotation. This is still completely new for him and a work in progress as he cannot yet achieve this effect so he does not use this in combat for now.
Crimson Crescent;[]
This weapon form has been an experiment that Shiryū is working on, Taking his dual weild dagger and connecting them together at the base he focuses chakra into them extending the blades out,at any moment the aim is to be able to transfer attacks in flowing motions from one blade to another,extending or retracting each side can lead to entrapment opportunitys or jutsu setups.

Shiryū's chakra is a deep crimson red rogue in nature when it manifests, tendrils of forming and lashing about,one could almost envision the streams of blood he has had to spill to survive just by watching the trails of it the way his chakra flows if looked at by a sensory type could be rather chilling as his deep pain and suffering taints him and also his chakra,leaving the potential for an outburst that could have dire consequnces if not kept in check or learned to control. this leaves the opportunity for Shiryū to attain great levels of ability and proficiency in chakra use and reserves due to his heritage of Uzumaki and Senju chakra but only if the work is put in to harness this raw potential.

Due to being born both Uzumaki and Senju Shiryū's life force is already considerable for someone of his age this is what allows him such a reckless abandon style of combat,allowing him to fight harder and longer than would be expected of someone his age this also allows him to be able to fight outside of his rank.
Willpower[]
Shiryū's cruel uprbinging has given him a willpower that is to be reckoned with,having to fight for you life on a daily basis gives someone an almost innate inner power to survive, he has been beaten and broken down day in day out and yet he stood back up everytime,fighting through it all for his life and now he has control of his own life,he is not about to let that be taken from his again and will tap into everything he possibly can to keep it that way.

Due to the Senju chakra he inherited from his father Shiryū is rather adept in sensing chakra upto several hundred feet away from him although he is far from being good at this as the further away the target he is sensing is the harder it is for her to determine their chakra type and nature none the less this is still a very apt skill for him and something he plans to pursure to full combat efficiency.
Intelligence[]
Shiryū's intelligence is well beyond that of someone his age,his upbringing forced him to have to think for himself,encounters he has had in his life have given him the ability look at a situation as it evolves in real time from all angles,this leads to thought processing beyond that of a common shinobi, some would say he has the mind of a chess master as everything he seems to do always has both previous and future actions taken into account,sometimes planning out several different possibilitys and how to counter each into his favor,the fact he has worked on grounding his senses at all times also helps with this. Shiryū also has a very strong Eidetic memory being able to recall things he has seen before with ease.
Speed and Strength[]
Shiryū's combat experience has given him some challenges,not only was he forced to fight other children but he was forced into handicapped fights against adults,sometimes multiple of them and even armed at times. This led to Shiryū having to rely on speed and strength something he naturally worked on everyday growing up without any form of ninjutsu enhancement his base speed can already rival a chuunin and his strength is no slouch either easily able to lift over double his weight or shatter a boulder in a single blow he was able to attain this level of speed and strength for his age by undergoing a very similair weight training technique that Rock Lee went through upon joining the Academy.
Durability and Stamina[]
Shiryū's stamina and durability is rather considerable even for his young age able to take blows that would normally stagger or even injure others of his age and skill group. This did not come easy and has come from years of fighting and training in unorthodox ways, Meditation on a daily basis twice a day morning and evening is what has helped Shiryū gain this level of stamina and durability aided by his inherited chakras. Shiryū is also able to seemingly fight for longer than he should be able to due to the fact he hones his movement's in training, grinding day after day to eliminate any unecessary muscle use or movement's in his movement. This allows his stamina to last longer as no energy is wasted on needless movements or muscle use training like this has also honed his reflex's as he has grasped the ability to micro manage muscles, isolating movement in his body to a smaller area allowing for quicker positional adjustments.
Recovery[]
Shiryū's recovery is one thing he has yet to focus on growing,be that as it may he still has a fairly impressive recovery time from even severe injuries like bone breaks and the such. bruises fade in mere hours most times with cuts only taking a few days to heal perhaps this could lead to an affinity for medical jutsu in the future but for now it is nothing to really take note of in his attributes.

Most of if not all of the fights Shiryū was forced into growing up he was unarmed this lead to him becoming rather well versed in taijutsu before he even reached the academy, However once attending the academy and training he quickly excelled in Taijutsu his intelligence,the ability to ground his senses and his speed and strength all play into his Taijutsu leaving him to be quite the opponent to have in close quarter hand to hand combat.
Ninjutsu[]
Shiryū quickly fell in love with Ninjutsu sometimes spending more time than he should studying at night rather than sleeping, Quickly taking to jutsu's that allowed him to increase his speed and strength aswell as a few basic ones like clone jutsu and the like although young he already has alot of ideas for jutsu that he thinks that once he masters them will leave him a name to be reckoned with although young still Shiryū has already learned some formidable jutsu.
Genjutsu[]
Unfortunately Genjutsu seems to be something that Shiryū is not quite able to grasp at the momentto perform himself,but this does not mean at all he is useless against it as training his senses has given him a solid ground for not only noticing and detecting but countering enemy genjutsu users.
Fūinjutsu[]
being of Uzumaki and Senju decent Shiryū already has a natural affinity for Fūinjutsu but has yet to tap into that potential,in the academy he learned about Fūinjutsu and it intrigued him although he can only use a few forms of Fūinjutsu right now he can be seen reading books and scrolls and even practicing the hand seals for them.

The Fuin on Shiryus neck was placed there by his mother who from the moment he was born could sense how powerful his raw emotions were, knowing she might not survive the izanami attack she placed it on him to lock away his emotions, but due to his childhood that seal has weakened and now acts to amplify his unstability when his emotions manifest.
